So how was your Turkey Day? Ours was fine, we had it on Black Friday. I worked on Thanksgiving day and K spent it out of town with his family. I got lucky and got off at 4pm and had the apartment to myself for 5 hours! Granted, I spent 3 of the 5 cleaning it but I was alone and Lord knows I haven't been alone at all (save for bathroom visits) since March.
I managed to have Black Friday off and made the usual traditional foods. My 1st batch of candied sweet potatoes were a disaster so I hit up Kroger for some canned ones and doctored them up to something edible. Other that that it was very uneventful. I invited Mo, No longer Forbidden Friend and 2 co-workers who came out and asked to be invited over to join K and I. Mo and his dog Mary were the only ones who showed up. Mary got both turkey legs as a treat to take home and Mo had 3 helpings of dinner so luckily I didn't end up with an abundance of leftovers.
There isn't much of anything going on around here, same ol' same ol. I have a bit of work to trudge through so I'm gonna get going on it. TTYL!

I've always treasured by "alone" time, but since Significant Other retired I haven't had any. No turkey croquettes?
Most times no news is good news...
Yay! Alone time!!
